We are thrilled to launch the Atlas of Disappearing Worlds website! More than just an archive, it’s a living repository—a tribute to vanishing cultures.
Our mission: Preserve these worlds from oblivion, offer younger generations the roots of their identity, and inspire them to nurture this legacy.
Through music, poetry, myths, and history passed down through generations, the Atlas safeguards and weaves together cultures at risk of disappearing.
Our journey begins with the Tuaregs and will soon explore other nomadic peoples, including the Toubou, Arabs, and Fulani.
Their voices tell their own stories.
