Platform for Economic, Political and Cultural Dialogue of the Adriatic Community

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

On October 20, 2022, Pax Humana Foundation, in collaboration with Unioncamere and Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome, launched a Platform for Economic, Political, and Cultural Dialogue of the Adriatic Community at the Fiera del Levante in Bari.

This Platform, composed of institutional and civil society figures from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Albania, aims to be an open and shared space for political, economic, and cultural exchange. It seeks to outline and implement initiatives and investments of common interest in areas such as energy, infrastructure, and tourism.

The event in Bari, organized with the Chamber of Commerce of Bari and Nuova Fiera del Levante, included the participation of the Forum of Chambers of Commerce of the Adriatic and Ionian (AIC), the  Western Balkan 6 Chamber Investment Forum (CIF), the Head of Unit for the Adriatic and the Balkans and National Coordinator EUSAIR for the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Andrea Cascone. Participants welcomed the initiative, emphasizing the urgency of furthering the common effort to strengthen ties between the countries in the area, especially at this historical moment.
