Support for collaboration in the infrastructure and transportation sector between Italy and Serbia

Promoting collaboration in the infrastructure and transportation sector between Italy and Serbia is a crucial tool to foster economic growth, connectivity, and mutual prosperity. The implementation of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, railways, and the enhancement of maritime and air transport, is essential to establish an efficient and modern network that facilitates trade, strengthens diplomatic relations between the two nations, promotes sustainable development, and improves the quality of life for the populations.

In this context, the Pax Humana Foundation facilitated a bilateral meeting which took place on March 14, 2023, at the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. The meeting involved Mr. Vesic and the Italian Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Matteo Salvini. Besides serving as an opportunity to strengthen dialogue and collaboration between the two countries in the field of infrastructure and transport, with a perspective of bringing Serbia closer to the European Union, it led to the issuance of approximately 11.000 new licenses for the transport of goods between Italy and Serbia.
